A Life of Color

Flowers on the backsides of my school work.
Crayon illustrations hung in my gallery (grandma's coat closet).
Bedroom walls painted with sea creatures.
I've always known I was an artist, excelling in everything creative.

I enjoy sharing my feelings in visual art, playing with color in many mediums. Colored pencils, crayons, markers, charcoal, paint, digital lighting and illustration, beads, yarn, flowers, anything I can get my hands on can be art! I often find I better express myself using visuals than words.

Stories in picture books are heavily expressed using the visuals. You open a book to a world colored just for you. My illustrating picture books can put stories in people's laps. I'm excited to create laughter, excitement and empathy in readers.
