The Great Zapfino by Mac Barnett, illustrated by Marla Frazee

I LOVE Mac Barnett works, and I LOVE Marla Frazee works, so this was going to be GREAT! And it is! The texture and line play a huge part in the action, there is so much movement. We follow The Great Zapfino with ease, and can relate to them so well. I was NOT expecting the twist, or the ending, which is a delight! It is so GREAT!
